Pickles

Pickles is a 6-year-old Percheron/Quarter Horse cross mare standing 15.3-16 hands, located in Buffalo, Wyoming. She's a versatile using horse with a solid arena foundation (walk, trot, lope, stop, spins) and extensive outside miles: sure-footed in rough terrain, confident crossing water, bridges, and logs, and unbothered by new situations. She's been used for roping at brandings and three-man doctorings on both head and heel, pasture doctoring, sorting pairs, trailing cattle, sale barn work, and hauling a dog, and she stays level-headed around traffic, flags, and rattle paddles. She leads, loads, ties, and stands well for the farrier, vet, and baths, and will pick riders up off fences, water tanks, trucks, and trailers. She has some old wire-cut scars that are cosmetic only. Photos show a sound-looking dun mare with a blaze and white socks, worked in a roping saddle both in pasture and mountainous trail settings.
